China Lifts Final “Suspensions” on Australian Red Meat
China has officially lifted the remaining trade “suspensions” on Australian red meat, marking a significant step in resolving a costly trade dispute, according to Australia’s trade minister, Don Farrell.
Farrell stated on Tuesday that the removal of these last barriers brings Australia closer to the full restoration of trade with China, which had previously affected approximately AU$20 billion (US$13 billion) worth of Australian exports.
