Nearly 50,000 Displaced in Syria in Recent Days – UN

The United Nations has reported that nearly 50,000 people have been displaced in Syria in recent days, following significant territorial gains by an Islamist-led rebel alliance from forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad.

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the displacement situation remains fluid, with new figures being verified daily. As of November 30, over 48,500 individuals have been forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict.
