EFCC Arrests 24 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Lokoja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abuja Zonal Directorate have apprehended 24 suspected internet fraudsters in Lokoja, Kogi State, on Friday, December 6, 2024. The arrests were made based on credible intelligence about the individuals’ involvement in internet-related crimes.

During the operation, the EFCC seized several items, including:

• 30 mobile phones
• 6 laptops
• 3 cars

The suspects are currently under investigation, and the EFCC has stated that they will be charged to court once investigations are completed.
