German President Steinmeier Arrives in Nigeria for 3-Day Official Visit

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Nigeria late Tuesday night, landing at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja for a three-day official visit.

He was warmly welcomed by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and other officials from the FCT Administration.

Minister Wike shared his excitement on his Facebook page, expressing his honor at welcoming President Steinmeier to Nigeria on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.

“It is a great honor for me, on behalf of our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to welcome the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to Nigeria,” Wike wrote. “President Steinmeier is in Nigeria for a three-day official visit.”
