Police Arrest Three Over Motorcycle Theft in Bauchi
The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with the theft of a motorcycle in Tenti-Babba, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The suspects, identified as Yakubu Aminu, Abdul Lawal, and Buhari Abdullahi, are all residents of Magama Gumau Town, Toro Local Government Area, Bauchi State.

According to the Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakil, the arrests followed a report by the motorcycle’s owner, Haruna Maguwa, who alerted authorities about the theft.
SP Wakil revealed in a statement on Thursday:
“Investigation led to the identification and arrest of the three suspects. On December 18, 2024, at approximately 7:00 am, the Police Command conducted a successful operation, recovering the stolen motorcycle, which the suspects intended to sell to an unsuspecting buyer.”
Charges and Next Steps
The suspects face allegations of criminal conspiracy, theft, and receiving stolen property. SP Wakil confirmed that the suspects will be charged in court once investigations are concluded.
