Govs Sani, Diri, Mutfwang Attend Southern Kaduna Cultural Festival Finale
The grand finale of the 2nd edition of the annual Southern Kaduna Cultural Festival (SKFest) was held on Sunday at the Kafanchan Township Stadium, with Governors Uba Sani (Kaduna), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau) in attendance.
The event celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Southern Kaduna’s ethnic groups and emphasized unity, tolerance, and the preservation of traditions.
Remarks by Senator Katung
Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, who represents Kaduna South in the National Assembly, hosted the event and expressed his gratitude to the governors for their participation. In a post on his verified Facebook page, he highlighted the significance of the festival:
“The Southern Kaduna Cultural Festival is designed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our various ethnic groups as well as promote understanding and tolerance in the region.”
Katung committed to supporting the festival, emphasizing its role in fostering unity, preserving cultural heritage, and showcasing a peaceful and united Southern Kaduna to attract both local and international investment.
