FIRS Announces Recruitment for Specialised Positions
The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced a recruitment drive aimed at hiring experienced professionals for specialised roles within Nigeria’s apex tax collection agency.
In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, FIRS described the recruitment exercise as part of its strategy to strengthen operations.
Positions Open for Recruitment
The available positions include:
- Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager in Tax (Investigation), PRS (Research), Public Relations, and ICT (Cybersecurity and AI Management).
- Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager in PRS (Risk Management) and Legal.
- Senior Manager and Assistant Director in Tax (Audit).
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree/HND with a minimum of second class lower or lower credit.
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) no later than December 31, 2017.
- Be no older than 40 years for assistant manager and deputy manager roles, and 45 years for senior manager and assistant director roles as of December 31, 2024.
Candidates must also possess relevant professional certifications as specified for each position.
