Economy Will Be Stabilised, Better By Next Year’s Christmas — Ganduje
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has wished Christians across Nigeria a joyful Christmas, expressing confidence that by next year’s Christmas, the nation’s economy would be stabilized and improved.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje highlighted the government’s progress in enhancing security, noting that incidents of banditry and kidnapping had significantly decreased. He credited these improvements to the ongoing efforts of the government.
Ganduje reflected on the importance of the festive season, emphasizing the values of love, peace, and unity exemplified by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. He described the season as a time for reflection, thanksgiving, and strengthening the bonds of harmony that would contribute to building a prosperous and united nation.
He urged all Nigerians, regardless of faith or background, to embrace the spirit of togetherness, mutual respect, and selflessness, especially toward the less privileged, during the season of giving.
The APC chairman also called for patience with the administration of President Bola Tinubu, acknowledging that the bold economic reforms introduced had caused some discomfort but stressing that positive results were already beginning to emerge. Ganduje reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to policies and programs that would drive sustainable growth, security, and the welfare of all citizens.
He concluded by urging Nigerians to use the festive period to pray for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, as well as for the success of the nation’s leaders at all levels of government.
