PICTORIAL: COAS Celebrates Christmas With Wounded Soldiers In Kaduna
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. OO Oluyede, celebrated Christmas on Wednesday with sick and wounded soldiers at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna. Represented by the Commander of Corps Artillery, Major General Markus Kangye, the COAS reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families.
In his address, the COAS urged the soldiers to remain disciplined, loyal, and patriotic, emphasizing their vital role in defending the nation’s sovereignty. He highlighted the importance of remembering fallen colleagues, including the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, and expressed solidarity with their families during the festive season.
