Akpabio Extols Ganduje As Dedicated Democrat, True Party Man
The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has praised Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as a dedicated democrat and a true party man.
In a congratulatory message marking Ganduje’s 75th birthday anniversary, Akpabio highlighted the APC Chairman’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and his exemplary leadership throughout his political career.
“Your Excellency, this milestone is a testament to your remarkable life, dedicated service, and unwavering commitment to our great nation. As a two-time deputy governor and governor for another eight years, your contributions to Nigeria’s democracy remain commendable,” Akpabio said in the statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh.
The Senate President further emphasized Ganduje’s achievements as National Chairman of the APC, particularly his efforts in strengthening the party and securing political victories. “Under your leadership, we have recorded electoral victories in Ondo, reclaimed Edo in a resounding victory, and made notable impacts across the country,” Akpabio added.
Akpabio also credited Ganduje’s leadership with the APC’s continued growth and unity, pointing out that many opposition members have defected to the party, inspired by Ganduje’s leadership and the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in collaboration with the National Assembly led by the APC.
Wishing Ganduje a joyful and peaceful celebration, Akpabio prayed for good health, happiness, and continued service to Nigeria in the years ahead. “On behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate, and the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on this diamond jubilee,” he concluded.
