Tinubu Expresses Sympathy to Jigawa Governor Over Mother’s Death
President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
Hajiya Maryam, the matriarch of the Namadi family, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, and was buried in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the late Hajiya Maryam for her contributions to her community. He encouraged the family to honor her memory by continuing her philanthropic work, ensuring that her legacy endures.
The President further offered words of comfort to Governor Namadi and the family, urging them to find solace in the lasting positive impact of her life and reputation.
