No Going Back on Demand for Independent Yoruba Nation — Igboho

Yoruba nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has reiterated that the demand for an independent Odua Nation remains unwavering and non-negotiable in 2025.

In a New Year message, Igboho emphasized that the quest for self-determination for the Yoruba people of the South-West and beyond is resolute. He assured Yoruba sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora that the pursuit of an independent Yoruba Nation would not waver.

Igboho’s statement, issued through his spokesperson Olayomi Koiki, urged the Yoruba people to unite and prepare for peaceful rallies and protests that would further their demand for Yoruba sovereignty. “Our watchword remains ‘No going back.’ This is the time for unity, courage, and focus. We are resolute in our mission,” he said.

He called on all Yoruba people to remain undeterred, stressing that continuous protests and rallies would assert their right to self-determination. Igboho encouraged his people to organize and move forward with determination, asserting that despite challenges, the path to achieving their dream of independence is clear and victory is certain.

“As we step into this new season, we are closer than ever to achieving our dreams,” Igboho declared, signaling that 2025 will be a defining year for the Yoruba self-determination movement.
