Gov Fintiri Announces New Emirs and Chiefs in Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has approved the appointment of seven new chiefs and emirs for the recently created Chiefdoms and Emirates in the state. The announcement was made through a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

The newly appointed emirs are:

  • HRH Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, Emir of Fufore
  • HRH Barrister Alheri B. Nyako, Tol Huba
  • HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga, Mbege Ka Michika
  • HRH Dr. Ali Danburam, Ptil Madagali
  • HRH Aggrey Ali, Kumu of Gombi
  • HRH Ahmadu Saibaru, Emir of Maiha
  • HRH John Dio, Gubo Yungur

Governor Fintiri congratulated the new monarchs and highlighted that their selections were based on merit and their popularity among the people. He urged them to carry out their responsibilities with fairness, honesty, and a sense of duty.

The approval of the new emirs and chiefs takes immediate effect.
