JUST-IN: Gov Sule Dissolves Nasarawa Exco, Sacks SSG

In a surprising development, Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council (SEC), a move that includes the dismissal of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Muhammed Ubandoma-Aliyu.

The announcement was made shortly after Vice President Kashim Shettima concluded a one-day visit to the state. Governor Sule disclosed the decision during an emergency SEC meeting held at around 7 p.m. on Friday evening.

Many of the cabinet members had participated in state functions earlier that day during the Vice President’s visit, making the timing of the announcement even more unexpected.
