Tinubu Condoles Gov Aiyedatiwa Over Death Of Ondo SSG

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the government and people of Ondo State over the passing of Temitayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Oluwatuyi, popularly known as Tukana, passed away on Saturday after succumbing to serious injuries from a car accident that occurred on December 15, 2024. He was hospitalized following the incident and later died in the hospital.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu conveyed his sympathies to the late Oluwatuyi’s family, friends, and political associates.

The late Oluwatuyi had been initially appointed as the SSG by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in 2020. He was later reappointed to the same role by the current Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

President Tinubu praised Oluwatuyi’s service to the people of Ondo State, acknowledging his significant contributions as the former chairman of Akure South Local Government Council and as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. The President highlighted Oluwatuyi’s commitment to strengthening democracy in the state and his vital role in coordinating and implementing policies that contributed to the state’s progress.

In his message, President Tinubu prayed that God would grant Oluwatuyi eternal peace and provide comfort to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
