Gov Fintiri Presents Letter of Appointment to New Tol Hoba

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has officially appointed Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako as the new Tol Hoba, a Second Class Chief, in Hong Local Government Area of the state. The appointment was formalized with the presentation of the letter of appointment by Ibrahim Buba, the Permanent Secretary of the Political Department in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, on behalf of the governor, on Sunday in Yola, the state capital.

In his acceptance speech, HRH Nyako expressed his gratitude for the honor and pledged to offer inclusive leadership. He also thanked Governor Fintiri for restoring the traditional stool to the people of Hoba. Nyako extended his appreciation to the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hoba elders, and the people of Hoba, who played a significant role in ensuring the kingdom regained its seat.

He called for cooperation from his fellow contestants for the throne and the people of Hoba, emphasizing unity for the progress of the Hoba Chiefdom.

Nyako is expected to travel to Hong, the headquarters of the chiefdom, on Monday to formally ascend to the throne.
