Oloro Congratulates Alaafin-designate Prince Owoade

The Oloro of Oro Kingdom in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Joel Titiloye Olufayo II, has congratulated Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade on his appointment as the Alaafin-designate of Oyo.

Oba Olufayo also extended his congratulations to the people of Oyo Kingdom on the prince’s ascension to the throne of their ancestors.

In a personally signed statement, Oba Olufayo expressed great satisfaction with the selection and approval of Prince Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo, describing the development as a divinely orchestrated event marking the beginning of a new era in Yoruba traditional leadership.

The Oloro commended Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde and the kingmakers for their seamless and transparent selection process. He highlighted that the new Alaafin, being a well-traveled and well-connected individual, possesses the wisdom, vision, and determination necessary to uphold and enhance the historic legacy of the Alaafin stool.
