Police Arrest Two Over Alleged Car Theft in Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended two suspects in connection with the theft of a Toyota Rav4, with registration number RSH 548 BB.
The arrested individuals are Yusuf Mohd Isah, a 25-year-old resident of Wuro Hausa in Yola South Local Government Area, and Faisal Mahmud, a 30-year-old from Kolere Ward in Mubi North Local Government Area.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects were arrested and the stolen vehicle was recovered by police operatives.
The arrest followed an investigation launched on December 23, 2024, after a complaint was filed by the vehicle’s owner, Mr. Aliyu Umar, a resident of Wuro Hausa.
SP Nguroje explained that, in response to the complaint, Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris deployed a team of detectives led by the Yola Divisional Police Officer, SP Habib Musa. The team successfully located and arrested the suspects, recovering the stolen vehicle.
