JUST-IN: Gunmen Kidnap Family Members, Others In Abuja

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a man, his wife, son, and two other individuals in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

LEADERSHIP gathered that the attack took place in the Chikakore area of Kubwa at around 12am on Monday.

Sources revealed that around 30 armed men, wielding AK-47 rifles, stormed the home of one Mr. Adefija Michael Akinropo, abducting him, his wife, son, and elder brother.

The assailants also targeted a nearby building housing a poultry farm, where they kidnapped another man and injured his wife in the process.

When contacted, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, confirmed that she was looking into the incident. “Let me check with the DPO and I will get back to you,” she stated.
