First Lady Remi Tinubu Visits IBB, Abdulsalami in Niger

Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, visited two former military leaders—General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd)—in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Tuesday.

Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, Senator Tinubu first visited General Babangida to check on his health and engage in discussions on matters of mutual interest. Afterward, she proceeded to General Abdulsalami Abubakar’s residence for a similar visit.

General Abubakar expressed his appreciation for the visit, calling it a “heartwarming gesture” and thanking the First Lady for her concern regarding his health and welfare. His wife, former First Lady Justice Fati Abubakar, was also present during the visit to warmly receive Senator Tinubu.
