Tinubu Off To France Ahead Of AU Summit In Addis Ababa

President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for Paris, France, for a private visit, before heading to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the upcoming African Union (AU) summit. According to a statement from Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu will join fellow African leaders at the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of AU Heads of State, which is scheduled to take place from February 12 to 16, 2025.

During his time in France, President Tinubu is also expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. The meetings in both Paris and Addis Ababa are key diplomatic engagements ahead of the continental summit.
