Emirates, Air Peace Agree to Boost Travel Connectivity in Nigeria

Emirates Airline has entered into an interline agreement with Nigeria’s Air Peace to enhance travel connectivity for passengers flying to and from Nigeria. This partnership will expand Emirates’ reach to 13 additional Nigerian cities, allowing seamless travel on a single ticket and simplified baggage handling.

The announcement was made in a joint statement by Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, and Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, on Tuesday.

Under the new agreement, passengers booking flights from Dubai to Lagos will gain access to more destinations across Nigeria. The interline partnership includes onward connections to cities such as Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri.

The partnership is also set to benefit corporate travellers, offering them access to additional cities, including Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja.

“Emirates is a steadfast partner of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. This partnership with Air Peace is the next step on this journey, bolstering our connectivity and introducing more travel options for corporate, leisure, and family travellers to and from Nigeria,” said Emirates in the statement.

Air Peace’s COO, Mrs. Olajide, emphasized that the collaboration would strengthen global connectivity for Nigerian travellers. “This strategic interline partnership is a significant step towards enhancing global connectivity for Nigerians. It aligns with our mission to provide seamless, world-class travel experiences while expanding our international reach,” she said.

The partnership also aims to boost business, tourism, and trade, fostering stronger economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE. Additionally, the agreement is designed to reinforce Nigeria’s aviation sector by enhancing efficiency and positioning the country as a critical hub for regional and global travel.

“We remain committed to providing greater connectivity, convenience, and world-class service for our passengers,” Olajide added.
