Adebanjo Dedicated His Life To Serve Humanity — Aiyedatiwa

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has expressed his condolences following the passing of Afenifere leader, Pa Samuel Ayodele Adebanjo. The elder statesman, who was a renowned nationalist and former chieftain of the defunct National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), passed away on Friday at the age of 96.

In a statement issued in Akure by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Aiyedatiwa described Pa Adebanjo as a figure who dedicated his life to serving humanity. He noted that Adebanjo demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the values of democracy, justice, and equality in Nigeria.

Aiyedatiwa further remarked that Pa Adebanjo’s tireless efforts to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the country had left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s history.

The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the late elder statesman, offering them comfort in the knowledge that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations of leaders and citizens.

“May his legacy continue to guide us all,” Aiyedatiwa added.
