Olukoyede Urges Newly-Commissioned Cadets to Uphold Integrity and Discipline
The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has charged the newly-commissioned Detective Assistant Cadets, Course 5, to embrace a culture of integrity and discipline in their duties. Olukoyede made this call on Friday, February 14, 2025, during the Passing Out Parade ceremony for 169 cadets at the Nigeria Police Mobile Training College, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State.
Olukoyede emphasized that the cadets had been trained not only in law enforcement but also in ethics, discipline, leadership, and the importance of upholding the EFCC’s core values: integrity, courage, professionalism, and collaboration.
“You have been trained not just in law enforcement but also in ethics, discipline, leadership, and the need to uphold the Commission’s core values of integrity, courage, professionalism, and collaboration. These are the principles that will guide you as you embark on your journey as officers of the Commission,” he said. He reminded the cadets that they are now an essential part of the EFCC’s mission to combat economic and financial crimes and that they must maintain the highest standards of integrity.
Olukoyede acknowledged the challenges the cadets would face but reassured them that their work in investigating cases, making arrests, and recovering assets plays a crucial role in advancing the EFCC’s vision and benefiting Nigeria.
