Ned Nwoko Denies Rumors of Impregnating Nollywood Actress Chika Ike
Billionaire politician and Senator, Ned Nwoko, has refuted social media rumors claiming that he impregnated Nollywood actress Chika Ike and intended to make her his seventh wife.
Recently, unverified reports had spread online alleging that Chika Ike had given birth to a child for the Delta North Senator. Speculation also grew after the Instagram account of his youngest wife, actress Regina Daniels, was deactivated amid these rumors of a new wife.
However, in an official statement released via Nwoko’s Instagram page on Monday, his director of communications denied the allegations, describing them as “false and malicious.”
The statement also addressed claims suggesting that Nwoko had made comments about singer 2Baba and polygamy, categorically stating that these claims were untrue.
“As a public figure and husband to an actress, such rumors are not unusual but rather the work of bloggers seeking attention,” the statement read.
Titled ‘OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS,’ the statement clarified: “Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him. We categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation.”
It further dismissed any reports about Nwoko commenting on polygamy and singer Tuface, calling them “completely untrue.”
The statement emphasized that Nwoko is currently focused on fulfilling his political duties and does not have time for such distractions. It also reminded journalists of the consequences of spreading fake news and urged the public to rely only on official statements from his office.
Nwoko’s team advised the public to disregard the rumors circulating online.
