Tinubu Appoints Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as New Rector of NCAT

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the new Rector and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.

The appointment was announced in a statement on Wednesday by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.

Dr. Ismaila, an expert in air transportation management, aviation security, and transport economic policy, graduated in 1989 with a degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation and has attended numerous courses, workshops, and seminars on civil aviation management and transportation.

He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society in the UK and the Air Transport Research Society, among other professional organizations.

Before his appointment, Dr. Ismaila served as a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, Katsina State.
