Hours After Swearing-in, Gov Aiyedatiwa Appoints New SSG, Commissioners, Others
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has swiftly appointed new key officials hours after being sworn in as the 7th democratically elected governor of the state on Monday.
Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, previously the chairman of the State Hospitals Management Board, has been appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Dr. Fasoranti hails from Akure South local government area of the state.
In a statement released by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, it was also confirmed that Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, has been reappointed as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, while Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac has been reappointed as Commissioner for Finance.
Additionally, the governor reappointed several Special Advisers, including Engr. Johnson Alabi (Power), Dr. Seun Osamaye (Women Affairs), Comrade Bola Taiwo (Union Matters and Special Duties), and Prof. Simidele Odimayo (Health).
Furthermore, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, the Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to Special Adviser in the same area.
All appointments are effective immediately, and Governor Aiyedatiwa has urged the appointees to hit the ground running, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery to the people of Ondo State.
