BREAKING: Bandits Kill 10, Abduct 6 in Niger Village

At least 10 people have been killed and six others abducted by bandits in Karaga village, located in Bassa Ward within the Shiroro local government area of Niger State.

The bandits have recently intensified their attacks on villages in the Shiroro region, with this being the latest in a series of assaults.

Sources reveal that the gunmen were armed with sophisticated weapons far superior to those of the local vigilantes, who attempted to intervene. The bandits were said to have carried out the attack unhindered, firing randomly at villagers and killing 10 in the process.
