BREAKING: Lagos Assembly Speaker Meranda’s Security Aides Withdrawn
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has removed all police escorts assigned to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, along with those securing the Assembly complex.
LEADERSHIP has learned that the withdrawal of her security personnel took effect immediately.
This move comes amid an ongoing leadership crisis within the Assembly.
As of the time of this report, the identity of the individual who issued the order for the security withdrawal is not yet clear.
