BREAKING: Kogi Central Senator Natasha Submits ‘Sexual Harassment’ Petition Against Akpabio to Senate

The Senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has officially submitted a petition to the Senate, accusing Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of sexual harassment.

Rising under Order 40 of the Senate Rules during Wednesday’s plenary, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan referenced her previous comments made on the Arise News Channel’s breakfast show regarding the alleged harassment by Akpabio. She announced that she had decided to formally submit the matter as a petition before the Senate.

In response, Senate President Akpabio, who was presiding over the session, granted her permission to proceed with the submission, which she did.
