Gov. Mutfwang Pays Tribute to Late Ex-Immigration CG Parradang

The Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of the former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Nde David Parradang, calling his death a significant loss to both Plateau State and the nation at large.

In a moving condolence statement issued in Jos by the Director of Press in the Governor’s Office, Mr. Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang described Parradang as a beacon of hope, a distinguished patriot, and a selfless leader whose unwavering dedication to national security made a lasting impact on Nigeria’s immigration system.

Reflecting on the late Parradang’s distinguished career, the governor highlighted his over three decades of service, where he was instrumental in strengthening Nigeria’s borders and improving immigration policies.

Rising through the ranks to become the nation’s top immigration officer, Governor Mutfwang praised Parradang’s discipline, integrity, and professionalism, noting that he was a model for others in his field.

The governor further lauded Parradang as a pillar of wisdom, an exemplary leader, and a role model whose commitment to peace, security, and good governance extended beyond his professional duties, playing a key role in the political development of his home state of Plateau.

“His invaluable contributions to national security and the progress of Plateau State will remain etched in our hearts. His vast experience in both public service and politics significantly shaped the growth of our beloved state,” Mutfwang remarked.

On behalf of his family, the government, and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his deepest condolences to the Parradang family, the Ngas Nation, and the people of Plateau State and Nigeria. He prayed for divine strength and comfort for all those mourning this painful loss.

Corruption reporter that Parradang was found dead in a hotel room in Abuja on Tuesday morning.
