NDLEA Officers Arrested For Fatally Shooting Teenager To Death In Kano
Two operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have been arrested in Kano State following the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Patience Samuel in Jaba Quarters.
The incident took place on Wednesday night at approximately 10:55 p.m. and was initially reported by counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama via his X platform. According to his report, a team from the Kano State Police Command responded promptly to the scene, evacuating Patience to Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead.
The officers involved in the shooting, identified as Nass Ridwan Usman, 23, and Sna Ismaila Yakubu, 26, were both attached to the NDLEA’s Kano State headquarters.
Authorities have recovered key evidence from the scene, including an operational motorcycle, a live round of ammunition, four empty shells of 7.62×51mm ammunition, and two knives from the suspects.
