The Katsina State Police Command has achieved a significant breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping and banditry, rescuing 30 kidnap victims and recovering 94 rustled animals in Faskari Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the operation occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, March 12, 2025, after police received a distress call around 1 a.m. reporting an attack on Unguwar Sarkin Fulani Dutsen Dadi, a village near Tafoki in Faskari LGA.
