Tinubu Orders Review of Road Safety Measures Following Fatal Abuja Explosion

President Bola Tinubu has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the tragic tanker explosion that caused multiple accidents and claimed lives in the Karu area of Abuja on Wednesday evening.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed his condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the devastating fire, which occurred during the evening rush hour.

The President also instructed that the injured receive immediate and priority medical care at various hospitals in the capital.

In addition, President Tinubu directed security agencies, particularly those responsible for road safety, to enhance monitoring and management of traffic flow at the entry and exit points of Abuja.

Tinubu offered prayers for the souls of the deceased and for God’s comfort and strength for the grieving families.
