Tinubu Appoints APC Spokesman Morka As NTA Board Chairman, Names 23 Party Bigwigs to Head Federal Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the Board Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

In a statement issued by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, it was revealed that President Tinubu also appointed Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed Buhari from Katsina State as the Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.

The President’s appointments extended to other party leaders, who were named as board chairmen for various federal government agencies.

Among the notable appointments are:

  • Mallam Muhammad Massan, APC State Chairman of Bauchi State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin.
  • Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, APC State Chairman of Kano State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service.
  • Dr. Austian Agada, APC State Chairman of Benue State, as Board Chairman of the National Agricultural Seed Council.
  • Hon. Macdonald Ebere, APC State Chairman of Imo State, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos.

Other appointees include:

  • Ubong Stephen Ntukekpo, APC State Chairman of Akwa Ibom State, as Board Chairman of the National Institute for Freshwater Fish, New Bussa.
  • Chief Emma Eneukwu, Deputy Chairman (South) of the APC, as Board Chairman of the National Automotive Development Council.
  • Aminu Musa Bobi, APC State Chairman of Niger State, as Board Chairman of the National Library of Nigeria.
  • Pharm. Abass Olayide, APC State Chairman of Oyo State, as Board Chairman of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.
  • Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, APC State Chairman of Yobe State, as Board Chairman of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre.

The appointments also include:

  • Benjamin Omale, APC State Chairman of Benue State, as Board Chairman of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu.
  • Rufus Bature, APC State Chairman of Plateau State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Coal Corporation.
  • Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Kana, APC State Chairman of Kebbi State, as Board Chairman of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.
  • Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, APC National Working Committee Member from Abia State, as Board Chairman of the Project Development Institute (PRODA).
  • Comrade Mustapha Salihu, APC State Chairman of Adamawa State, as Board Chairman of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
  • Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, APC State Chairman of Abia State, as Board Chairman of the National Parks Headquarters.
  • Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, APC State Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory, as Board Chairman of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan.

Additional appointments include:

  • Hon. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, APC State Chairman of Taraba State, as Board Chairman of the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria.
  • Sola Elesin, APC State Chairman of Ekiti State, as Board Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences.
  • Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, APC State Chairman of Edo State, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure.
  • Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, APC State Chairman of Zamfara State, as Board Chairman of the Federal Medical Centre, Azare.
  • Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel, APC State Chairman of Jigawa State, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Stored Products Technology, Kano.
  • Barr. Idris Shuaibu, APC State Chairman of Adamawa State, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan.

These appointments are part of President Tinubu’s effort to strengthen governance through the active participation of key figures within the APC in leading various federal institutions.
