PDP Governors’ Forum Applauds Bala, Adeleke, Mbah, Eno on LEADERSHIP Awards
The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) has extended heartfelt congratulations to its chairman and Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, along with Governors Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, Peter Mbah of Enugu, and Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, on their recognition as Governors of the Year 2024 by LEADERSHIP Group Limited.
In a statement issued by the Forum’s Director-General, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, the awards were described as a well-deserved acknowledgement of the governors’ commitment to transformative governance, visionary leadership, and their roles in charting a path toward national renewal.
Governor Bala Mohammed was praised for his far-reaching developmental strides in Bauchi State, spanning critical sectors such as healthcare, road infrastructure, urban renewal, security, education, housing, water supply, and rural electrification.
Governor Umo Eno was commended for rolling out life-impacting initiatives under his A.R.I.S.E. Agenda, which the Forum described as a framework bringing new hope and progress to the people of Akwa Ibom State.
Governor Peter Mbah was hailed for his innovative governance style and push for economic inclusivity in Enugu State—particularly through initiatives in modern agriculture, industrialisation, education, clean water access, and rural development.
Senator Ademola Adeleke received accolades for spearheading significant economic transformation in Osun State, with tangible progress noted in agriculture, education, infrastructure, tourism, healthcare, and urban renewal.
“The Forum celebrates their Excellencies for this remarkable recognition and reaffirms our collective support as they continue their service to the nation with excellence and integrity,” the statement concluded.
