President Bola Tinubu has submitted a ₦1.48 trillion budget proposal for Rivers State to the National Assembly following the Supreme Court’s nullification of the state’s 2025 budget and the imposition of emergency rule in the state.
Key Budget Allocations:

₦31.4 billion – Agriculture (expected to create 6,000 jobs)
President Tinubu has urged the National Assembly to urgently pass the budget to stabilize the state and ensure essential governance and development continue amid the ongoing emergency administration.
