Arewa Revival Project Conferred Akpabio With ‘Pillar Community’ Icon

The Arewa Revival Project (ARP) has conferred the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON, prestigious title of “Pillar of the Community.”

This recognition will take place upon his return to Nigeria from a brief vacation in London, following his participation in the recent Parliamentary Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.

It acknowledges his exceptional contributions to national unity, his consistent advocacy for inclusive governance, and his dedication to serving humanity without barriers of region, religion, or ethnicity.

The project coordinator of the Arewa Revival Project, Hon. Muttaka Ahmed Ibrahim, stated:
“Senator Akpabio has distinguished himself as a leader who embodies patriotism, compassion, and statesmanship.

Ibrahim emphasizes that his leadership of the 10th Senate has demonstrated commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, building consensus, and promoting peace and development across our country.

• Recent Engagements: Return to Abuja today after international engagements and a brief vacation abroad, where he pledged “robust legislative engagements” in the months ahead.

• Senate Confidence: Under his stewardship, the 10th Senate has passed landmark fiscal legislation and reinforced stability in governance, earning votes of confidence from his colleagues.
