EFCC Arrests 59 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abuja Zonal Directorate arrested 59 suspected internet fraudsters on Monday, February 24, 2025. The arrests were made at the Abacha Road, Mararaba axis of Nasarawa State, following credible intelligence about their involvement in fraudulent internet activities.
During the operation, a total of 73 phones of various brands were recovered from the suspects.
The arrested individuals will be charged to court once investigations into their activities are concluded.
