Keystone Bank Hands Over Renovated School to Kaduna Government

Keystone Bank Limited officially handed over a fully renovated and equipped block of classrooms to Sarki Sambo L.G.E.A Primary School in Zaria, Kaduna State, on Thursday. This initiative is part of the Keystone Bank Educational Support Initiative, which seeks to foster a conducive learning environment for young learners, in line with the bank’s commitment to sustainable development through education.

The bank emphasized the importance of the education sector in driving socio-economic development.

At the event, the Managing Director/CEO of Keystone Bank, Mr. Hassan Imam, expressed the bank’s steadfast commitment to supporting education as a critical driver of national growth. “At Keystone Bank, we recognize that education is the foundation of a prosperous society. By investing in the renovation of schools like Sarki Sambo L.G.E.A Primary School, we are not only enhancing learning conditions for children but also contributing to the overall development of our nation. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to creating a brighter future through quality education.”

Imam also highlighted that the renovation and improvement of the learning environment were part of the bank’s broader social responsibility to advance Nigeria’s education system.

The Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, also commended the bank for its impactful contribution to the region’s education sector. “Education is the key to progress, and this investment by Keystone Bank will go a long way in shaping the future of our children. We appreciate this noble gesture and encourage more institutions to follow this example in supporting the education sector,” he said.

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including the Kaduna State governor’s representative, Hadiza Usman Abdullahi, Commissioner of Education Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello, Hon. Aminu Jamo from Katsina State, members of the Sarki Sambo L.G.E.A Primary School Alumni Association, the school’s headteacher, and other notable guests.

Keystone Bank’s Educational Support Initiative forms part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda, which includes sustainable interventions in education, healthcare, and community development.
