Ex-Kwara Head Of Service Susan Oluwole Dies At 58

The immediate-past Kwara State Head of Service, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole, has passed away at the age of 58. Her death occurred on Wednesday, just a year after she retired from the Kwara State Civil Service.

In reaction to her passing, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed profound sadness. He described the late Oluwole as a respected authority and an impeccable technocrat whose contributions to public service were invaluable.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq acknowledged that Oluwole’s rise within the civil service was a testament to her hard work, brilliance, character, and impressive institutional memory. He fondly remembered working with her as a respected professional and highlighted the significant impact she made in the state’s public service sector.

The governor also extended his condolences to her family, particularly her husband and aged father, as well as to the entire civil service community in the state. He prayed for the repose of her soul and for strength for her loved ones to endure this profound loss.

Similarly, the Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries of Nigeria (ARSPSON) in Kwara State expressed its sorrow over Oluwole’s death. In a statement issued by the association’s chairman, Prince Ayo Fagbemi, and Public Relations Officer, Alh. Abubakar Mohammed, they described her as a vibrant, impactful, and highly resourceful civil servant who left a lasting legacy of excellence in administration.

The retired permanent secretaries praised her as an administrator par excellence who had left positive and indelible marks on the state’s civil service.
