EFCC Arrests 40 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Nasarawa

The Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters in Tamah, located in Tamah Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The suspects were apprehended on Wednesday, April 29, 2025, following credible intelligence linking them to cybercrime-related activities.

During the operation, EFCC operatives recovered five laptops and 34 mobile phones believed to have been used in the alleged fraudulent acts.

The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
