Governor Aiyedatiwa Votes, Commends Early Arrival of Election Materials

Ondo State Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Saturday’s governorship election, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has cast his vote, praising the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring the timely arrival of electoral materials.

The governor voted at approximately 8:50 a.m. at Unit 5, Ward 4, Obenla, in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state.

Aiyedatiwa applauded INEC for delivering voting materials as early as 7:20 a.m. and ensuring a smooth voter accreditation process.

LEADERSHIP reports that the voting process officially began around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The governor also expressed delight at the high turnout of voters in his Obenla community.

INEC confirmed that 17 political parties are participating in the governorship election, which is taking place across all 18 local government areas in Ondo State.
