BREAKING: Dangote Refinery Slashes Fuel Price to N899.50 Per Litre
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as fuel, to N899.50 per litre.
Official Announcement
In a statement issued by the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, the decision was described as a strategic move to provide relief for Nigerians during the festive season.
“This reduction is designed to ease transport costs during the festive period,” Chiejina stated.
The refinery, which previously reduced the fuel price to N970 per litre on November 24, has introduced this further discount to support Nigerians.
Holiday Offer for Consumers
As part of its festive initiative, the refinery also announced a unique offer:
- For every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers can buy an additional litre on credit, supported by bank guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
- The reduced price of N899.50 per litre applies to purchases made at the refinery’s truck loading gantry or Single Point Mooring (SPM).
“This special offer is aimed at alleviating transport costs and supporting Nigerians during this holiday season,” the statement read.
Commitment to Quality
Dangote Refinery reaffirmed its dedication to providing premium-quality petroleum products that are:
- Competitively priced.
- Environmentally safe.
- Engine-friendly.
The statement also emphasized the refinery’s role in ending Nigeria’s reliance on substandard, blended, and imported petroleum products that pose risks to human health, machinery, and the environment.
“We remain committed to ensuring Nigerians have access to affordable and high-quality petroleum products,” the company added.
This development is expected to bring relief to consumers amid rising transportation and fuel costs.
