Gov Alia Excited Over Benue Assembly’s Confidence Vote

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has expressed heartfelt gratitude and excitement following the vote of confidence passed by the Benue State House of Assembly in his administration. He emphasized the collective commitment to improving the welfare of all residents in the state.

The lawmakers’ vote of confidence was declared during a budget retreat held at Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Taking to his verified Facebook page on Friday night, Governor Alia said:
“Today, I am deeply humbled and grateful to the Speaker and Honourable Members of the Benue State House of Assembly for passing a vote of confidence in my leadership during the budget retreat at Ta’al Conference Hotel in Lafia.

“Our administration has always been committed to improving the welfare of every Benue person. From upgrading infrastructure, roads, healthcare, and schools, to ensuring the timely payment of salaries and pensions, we are working tirelessly to leave a lasting impact on the lives of our people.

“The vote of confidence today is not just about my leadership; it’s about our collective vision to take Benue State to greater heights. I appreciate the Assembly’s partnership, their swift action on the 2025 budget, and their dedication to supporting the progress we all seek!”

Governor Alia highlighted key achievements of his administration, including improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and the timely payment of salaries and pensions, as part of efforts to leave a lasting legacy.

The Governor also praised the Assembly’s proactive approach to the 2025 budget and their unwavering support in driving the progress envisioned for the state.
