Auto Crash Claims Seven Lives in Niger State
A tragic road accident on Tuesday night claimed the lives of seven people along the Bida-Mokwa Road in the Panti area of Lavun Local Government Area, Niger State.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the crash involved a truck traveling from Lagos to Abuja and a Toyota Corolla coming from Batati to Kutigi, the headquarters of Lavun LGA. The Toyota Corolla, carrying nine passengers, collided with the truck, resulting in the deaths of five female and two male occupants.
The Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kumar Tsukwam, confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP, stating that the bodies of the victims have been deposited at the Kutigi General Hospital.
