JUST-IN: Ajulo, Omowunmi Retain Positions as Gov Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Ondo Cabinet
Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved his cabinet with immediate effect. The decision, which was communicated in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, directs all affected cabinet members to hand over any government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
However, two key cabinet members were exempted from the dissolution. The Governor retained the state’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, citing the critical nature of their roles.
“The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the dissolution of the State Executive Council, effective immediately. However, two members of the cabinet have been exempted due to the critical nature of their duties. These are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac,” the statement read.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the affected cabinet members for their service and contributions to the development of Ondo State during his administration. He wished them success in their future endeavors.
