SEE LIST: EFCC Begins Auction Of 891 Forfeited Cars

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the commencement of the electronic auctioning of 891 forfeited vehicles.

In a public notice shared across its official social media platforms on Monday, the anti-graft agency outlined that the auction process adheres to the relevant legal frameworks, including the EFCC (Establishment) Act, 2004, the Public Procurement Act, 2007, and the Proceeds of Crime (Recovery & Management) Act, 2022.

The online auction is scheduled to run from January 20 to January 27, 2025.

To facilitate the sale, the EFCC has partnered with accredited auctioneers and provided the public with official platforms to participate. The approved auction websites are:

Interested bidders are encouraged to visit these platforms to view the available vehicles and complete the necessary registration process.

The EFCC has assured transparency in the entire auction process, confirming that all sales will be conducted in strict accordance with legal provisions governing asset forfeiture and disposal.

This auction is part of the EFCC’s ongoing efforts to recover and manage assets linked to financial crimes, as well as its commitment to promoting accountability and justice in Nigeria.
