Police Arrest 2 Suspected Burglars in Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two individuals, Musa Isah, 24, and Abdullah Tanimu, 18, in connection with a series of burglaries and other criminal activities in the state. The suspects were apprehended after allegedly breaking into a shop owned by one Tijay Zirah, located around Luggere, at approximately 3 a.m., and stealing valuable items.
The police were able to track down the suspects following a report of the break-in and subsequent investigation. According to the police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects are being held as part of ongoing efforts to tackle crime in the region.
“The suspects will be charged to court once the investigation is completed,” Nguroje said in a statement. He added that the police were committed to ensuring the protection of the public and the security of lives and property.
“The Command assures the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing, after which the suspects will be charged to court to face the full wrath of the law,” he further stated.
The police have vowed to continue their efforts to safeguard citizens and clamp down on criminal activities in the state.
