Akpabio Urges Nigerians to Support Tinubu’s Economic Reforms
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and supportive of the economic reforms initiated by President Bola Tinubu, expressing confidence that the country will eventually benefit from these efforts in the long run.
Akpabio made the call in his goodwill message during the 11th Convocation of the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Kwall, located near Jos, Plateau State, over the weekend. During the event, he was honored with a Fellowship Award by the college in recognition of his significant contributions to the nation’s development.
Represented by Senator Mwadkon Dachungyang, who represents Plateau North, Akpabio assured Nigerians that the 10th Senate is committed to supporting the government’s economic vision and ensuring the fulfillment of the hopes and aspirations of the people.
He also commended the leadership and teamwork of the institution, particularly highlighting the efforts of its Director-General, Dr. Friday Akpan, and his management team.
In his address to the graduating students of the college, which serves as the training arm of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Akpabio urged them to uphold integrity and professionalism throughout their careers, whether in the public or private sector.
